2008 Lincoln Navigator Review
Big, luxurious, soft and smooth.
"The 2008 Lincoln Navigator hits the most important marks for a full-size sport-utility vehicle. It's relatively smooth, quiet and huge both inside and out. It comes equipped with lots of safety features and nearly all the luxury bells and whistles. The Navigator's tow rating is among the highest in the class, and it runs on regular gasoline where nearly all others require premium. The base price is lower than most of its competitors, before dealer incentives, but its sister vehicle, the Ford Expedit"

Redesigned and re-engineered for 2007.

"The 2007 Navigator hits the most important marks for a full-size sport-utility vehicle. It's relatively smooth, quiet and huge both inside and out. Living large and luxuriously.

"The Lincoln Navigator combines the towing and hauling capabilities you'd expect from a full-size SUV with the smooth and pleasant driving experience you'd want in a luxury sedan. Its interior is modern and stylish and it has comfortable third-row seating space. That should make Navigator exactly the right choice for a large number of buyers."

2004 Lincoln Navigator Review
Big luxury SUV with smooth ride and agile handling.

"The 2004 Lincoln Navigator combines the towing and hauling capabilities you'd expect from a full-size SUV with the smooth and pleasant driving experience you'd want in a luxury sedan. Its interior is modern and stylish and, thanks to its independent rear suspension, it has third-row seating space comparable to that of the much longer Chevy Suburban and Cadillac Escalade ESV. That should make Navigator exactly the right choice for a large number of buyers."

2003 Lincoln Navigator Review
Grand Touring, SUV-style.

"Many many years ago a large luxurious sporty car was called a quot;Grand Touringquot; car because it was capable of carrying passengers long distances in a more sporty fashion than a regular sedan but in a more luxurious fashion than a sports car. The term GT has changed its meaning over the years but perhaps it's fair to call the 2003 Navigator a modern quot;Grand Touringquot; car. After all, it can transport up to eight passengers in comfort while delivering a decent driving experience at the same time."

2001 Lincoln Navigator Review
Maximum plush in a full-size SUV.

"For little more than the price of a fully loaded Ford Expedition, the Lincoln Navigator makes a more dramatic statement, carries more prestige, and is protected by a longer-running warranty. Navigator has a slightly softer ride as well, without sacrificing much off-road capability, although on-road handling suffers a little. Fuel economy isn't a strong point, either."
